Axentro will feature a smart assets system. Assets can be registered on the blockchain with a set of properties that can be used to define the asset. An asset can also optionally contain bytecode compiled from a special smart asset language called Taro.

In this way you can write smart asset code which can mutate the
properties of the asset. Assets can be queried to retrieve their data at
a node via an asset API. Asset code can be invoked via transaction calls
which execute the public asset functions that have been coded into the asset.
